Call for Board Nominations
Serving Our Members
WAA is seeking dedicated and dynamic performing arts professionals to fill two board Director seats as part of the upcoming 2023 board rotation.
The leadership of our board is crucial in helping us fulfill our mission to advance excellence in performing arts presenting in the West through innovative thinking and ground-breaking initiatives, and service to our members and the field at large. Our board members contribute their knowledge, skills, time, and perspectives to support us in this work. Board duties include acting as the fiduciary and guardian of organizational assets, setting policy, and establishing long- and short-term goals.
Candidates should demonstrate a passion for our mission and a commitment to serving the needs of our members. WAA will prioritize historically underserved voices in the selection of the nominees as part of our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Submit your nomination — for yourself or a colleague — by the deadline: Wednesday, May 10 at 5pm PT. WAA’s Governance Committee will review and vet all nominees, and a slate of candidates will be distributed to the membership via email for a vote later this year.
