ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIPS

With the exception of the Individual membership, WAA memberships are organizational — which means that when you join WAA, anyone on your team/roster may access member benefits. Learn more about our four organizational membership types below.

ARTIST/MANAGER

Join WAA as an Artist/Manager if: your organization represents touring performing artists/attractions

Annual dues: $325 - $1,100 Artist/Manager membership dues are tiered, based on gross contracts for touring. Learn more.

PRESENTER

Join WAA as a Presenter if: your organization presents performances

Annual dues: $325 - $1,100 Presenter membership dues are tiered, based on total fees paid to touring artists. Learn more

ASSOCIATE

Join WAA as an Associate if: your organization facilitates, funds, or supports presentation of the performing arts

Annual dues: $495

 

CONSULTANT/VENDOR

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

Join WAA as an Individual if: you are an individual performing arts professional who is not affiliated, contracted, or employed by a business or organization AND your annual gross fees from touring/annual total fees paid to touring artists (if applicable) are less than $50,000.

Note: Individual members are not eligible to exhibit at the conference, but hold all other benefits of membership.

Annual dues: $175

 

ARTIST/MANAGER MEMBERSHIP

The Artist/Manager membership is for:
Organizations representing touring performing artists/attractions (artists, ensembles, agents, managers, producers)

Annual Dues:
$325 - $1,100

Artist/Manager membership dues are tiered, based on gross contracts for touring for your most recently completed fiscal year.

Tier 1 $325: Less than $50,000 gross fees
Tier 2 $575: $50,000 - $249,999 gross fees
Tier 3 $725: $250,000 - $499,999 gross fees
Tier 4 $925: $500,00 - $999,999 gross fees
Tier 5 $1,100: 1 million and up gross fees

Calculating your Artist/Manager tier:

Artists: Gross fees contracted for performances and related activities (such as residencies) 50 miles or more away from home.
Managers/agents: Gross fees on which commissions are computed.
Fee-based managers: Gross fees contracted by artists under management for performances and related activities (such as residencies) 50 miles or more away from the artist’s home.

Organizations presenting performances

Annual Dues:
$325 - $1,100

Presenter membership dues are tiered, based on total fees paid to touring artists for your most recently completed fiscal year.

Tier 2 $575: $50,000 - $249,999 gross fees
Tier 3 $725: $250,000 - $499,999 gross fees
Tier 4 $925: $500,00 - $999,999 gross fees

Current WAA Members

WAA’s new and improved member portal is live!

If you’re a current WAA member, you should receive an email with your new login credentials on Monday, March 25. The new member portal is accessed at members.westarts.org.

Your username is your email address. You can request a new password by entering your username at members.westarts.org.

Former WAA Members 

If your membership lapsed prior to January 1, 2024, you’ll need to create a new account in the new member portal to and reinstate your membership. Ready to go ahead? Select the relevant membership below.
