PADX Program Launch

Be part of WAA’s first ever PADX delegation: join us this October 25 - 29 in A Coruña, Spain for WOMEX  — Worldwide Music Expo — as a PADX Fellow or a PADX Colleague. 

WOMEX is the biggest conference of the global music scene and the leading networking platform for the world music industry. PADX, which aims to expand international opportunities for U.S. performing artists, offers a unique opportunity to maximize everything WOMEX has to offer: immerse yourself in a global music hub under the banner of WAA and share the experience with others from the WAA community as you make new connections with performing arts professionals from all over the world and explore the culture and picturesque views of host city, A Coruña, together.

PADX Fellows
Six PADX Fellowships will be awarded to artists/agents/managers from music disciplines. PADX Fellows receive subsidized travel and expenses ($2,000 towards the total trip cost) plus networking support and participation in a special pitch session. PADX Colleagues 
PADX Colleague participation is open to all performing arts professionals, allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. While PADX Colleagues do not receive funding towards the trip cost, they receive the benefit of discounted travel and accommodation, arranged by WAA, and are invited to participate in PADX trip activities. Learn more about the opportunity and how to register here.
