Deadline Extended — Performing Arts Discovery Program
An International Showcase Opportunity for US-based performing artists
Calling all US-based performing artists with readiness to tour internationally: apply now for the Performing Arts Discovery (PAD) Program! The deadline to apply to PAD has been extended to Friday January 28, 5pm PT.
PAD — launched by the NEA in 2015 to promote US artists to international programmers, festival directors, and venue managers — is an international video showcase opportunity for US-based performing artists.
Applications are open to music, dance, and theatre artists/ensembles with a demonstrated capacity to tour internationally. PAD encourages those who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and/or LGBTQ+ to apply.
20 artists/ensembles will be selected from this round of applications. Those selected for PAD receive support from an expert production team to create a professionally-produced live performance video which will be promoted and showcased on a virtual cloud-based platform for international markets.
There is no application fee for the PAD program.
